PlantNet® Australia is a Queensland based company with a national focus. We are not a nursery but have nurseries that propagate products that are exclusive to our PlantNet brand. We have nursery members based all around Australia.
Our focus is to provide you, the home gardener, with the latest, best quality plant and tree varieties possible. Our nurseries specialise in producing a range of dwarf fruit trees and ornamentals that are perfectly suited to growing in small spaces or in pots. These varieties are exclusive to the PlantNet wholesale nursery network.
You can buy all of our trees from a range of retail nurseries in your state but we also offer some of the more popular varieties each winter through our online shop (sold as bare root fruit trees). We also sell blueberry plants and pest control products all year round from the shop. This is great way for you to guarantee you will get the tree or product you so desperately want with the bonus of having them delivered direct to your door!
PlantNet is a small dedicated team focused on providing the best plants possible to home gardeners and in addition ensuring we provide information to home gardeners on how to grow our products.
The faces behind the brand
As the PlantNet horticulture marketing co-ordinator, Mark has 36 years’ experience in the horticulture industry, owned and operated his own orcharding business and continues to grow and test any PlantNet varieties he can get his hands on. Mark also works closely with all the PlantNet nurseries who are licensed to propagate PlantNet products, providing product information and marketing and promotional support. He also continues to work in the commercial fruit growing sector assisting to commercialise new varieties with fruit growers from the ANFIC stable. His experience in fruit production and research has been gained through practical involvement in stone fruit breeding.
